The Independence Pledge

Your vendor should never become your competitor.

You built the client relationships. We’re the rails underneath them — nothing more. This is the promise that keeps it that way: written down, and true on every plan.

The pledge

Three promises, kept by design.

Not by our good intentions on a given morning — by how the company is built. Here is each one, and the structure that makes breaking it impossible.

We will never sell photography.

Our only product is software, sold to you. Never prints, never shoots, never a paid placement to the people who hired you — there is no version of us that competes for your clients’ work.

Structural: we have no photography to sell.

We will never market to your clients.

Your client list is never mined, emailed, retargeted, or folded into a lead list. We don’t know your clients, and we like it that way. They stay yours.

Your client list is never our lead list.

We take 0% of your client payments.

Every dollar a client pays settles into your own Stripe account. We take a cut of exactly none of it — on every plan, today and later. Our only revenue is your subscription.

0% platform fee, every plan, forever.
Why we put it in writing

What happens when the rails become a rival.

This isn’t hypothetical. It happened to an entire vertical of photographers, in public, inside a couple of years.

2023

Zillow acquired Aryeo, the real-estate media platform many photographers used to deliver galleries and invoice their agents.

Then

The same parent company began selling photo shoots directly to agents through Zillow Media Experts. The platform photographers had routed their business through was now booking the same shoots they were.

After

Photographers who lived through it described it plainly: their vendor had turned competitor, and the client data they had built up was treated as a lead list.

The lesson

We’re not here to pile on — good people work there, and the tools were genuinely useful. The point is structural: when a platform can profit by selling to your clients, the incentive to eventually do it never leaves. It just waits for a quarter that needs the number.

Facts as of July 2026, drawn from the public sources linked above.

How we make money

The best business model is the boring one.

One flat subscription, billed to you. That is the whole model — no commission on your bookings, no cut of your invoices, no percentage skimmed from what your clients pay.

The boredom is the feature. If our only revenue is a subscription you can cancel in one click, the only way we grow is by staying worth keeping. Your success and ours point the same way, and there is no second, hidden way for us to win at your expense.

What we take from your client payments
0%

On every plan we ship, today and later. Not a launch promotion — the promise. The money flows into your Stripe account; we never touch it.

What the pledge means concretely

Four things that can’t happen here.

Your client list stays a client list

We never mine it, market to it, or sell against it — not photography, not prints, not a paid placement. It is your relationship, and it never quietly becomes our lead list.

No marketplace between you and them

We will never drop a booking marketplace into the middle of your work: no lead auctions, no pay-to-rank, no rival studios one tap from your gallery. There is nothing to bid against.

Nothing of ours on a client surface

No badge, no powered-by strip, no Everyframe app, no footer link where a client can see it. A CI gate fails the build if any platform brand tries to reach a client page.

Export and leave, on your terms

Galleries, contacts, and records export on demand in open formats — no exit fee, no retention games, no thirty-day hostage clock. The door is unlocked from the inside.

Switch without the fear

Keep the client relationship you built.

Bring your galleries, keep your brand, and never wonder whose side your platform is on.
